Apple released the new iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Max on September 20, 2019, and since than, a large numbers of cases have arrived to protect the new phones. So I put together a list of my favorite cases, with a focus on those that are relatively slim but offer strong protection and easy charging for your brand new iPhone. Most of my picks tend to be a bit expensive than the typical generic case you’ll find on Amazon for $25 or less. Also, since the iPhone 11 comes in a variety of colors that people may want to show off, I’ve included a number of cases that are semitransparent.
MOUS Protective Case
Mous makes several cases with eye-catching designs, including leather and wood finished models. They’re all lined with the AiroShock material that delivers excellent protection in a slim design. They are durable and include a lifetime warranty.
MOUS Protective Case is well made and it fits your iPhone 11 perfectly. The blue leather is beautiful and the black trim makes the phone easy to grip. It will offer great protection and yet it is slim. It’s also worth noting that these Mous cases are the only ones I’ve seen that have a SIM card storage slot on the inside of the case for international travelers in the habit of swapping SIM cards.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case
If you’re looking for a cheap clear case for your new iPhone 11, Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid Case is a good value. No drop rating is listed for the case, but it feels like Spigen cases offer reasonable protection, and it should appeal to folks who want a case that’s neither too thin nor too thick. Unlike the Tough Armor, a lot of these cheaper clear cases have a habit of turning yellow over time, but they’re cheap enough that you probably won’t mind shelling out for a replacement if that happens.
Pelican Military Grade Case
The earlier Pelican cases were very protective but just a little too bulky. But if you want a case that’s durable and not totally ugly, this is probably a good one to get. Apparently this case is also glow in the dark – I would say that’s fairly accurate. I can typically see my phone in complete darkness, but it’s not as bright as you would expect.
